Q. My Photographer gave me MY Digital Negatives - can you still create an album for me?
A. YES! We highly recommend it. Images from your professional will be edited and perfect for album creation. Although, we do require permission from you that you have the rights to your digital negatives, we do still give the photographer credit on the album images.
Q. Who Designs my Album?
A. At Complete Wedding Albums we are a team of designers who believe in bring ARTISTIC ALBUM CREATIONS to the masses. We do not out source your designs. Our Head Creative Director, has been a Professional Photographer for over 15 years, and has been able to give us the insight that we need to provide you with the most cost effective Professional Album Design Process.
Some companies want you to design your own book using their soft wear: Which can be time consuming, difficult & confusing. Our aim is to provide you with an EASY APPROACH professional design that make your memories matter
Q. I'm a Professional Photographer - Do you offer studio samples?
A. We do not offer discounts at this time. We prefer keep our prices as affordable as possible. If we were to offer a discounts on studio samples then we would have to increase our costs.
Q. Can I use any images?
A. We do require the images to be a minimum of 300 dpi. We cannot create albums from images on a website. The images need to be high resolution image. We will contact you should there be any problem with you images |
Q. How can I see Samples?
A. Complete Wedding Albums has been set up to help everyone to create their heirloom albums in a simple and reasonable investment. We have opted to place photos and layout designed online to help you see what we can do for you. Every book is customed designed and therefore every album is unique. We will help you select the best combo for your album based on what you tell us you would like. We will be updating our website regularly with newer photos to help illustrate our options.
Q. How do you approach the "Design Styling" of my album?
A. We will work with you to enhance and maximize the vision on each page of your album design. The design layout enhances the photography and the story that is being told. Every album is unique! We know that every body has their own likes and dislikes, and it is our goal to work with and create a wonderful expression of your images. We attempt to take the photos and reflect the styles of your album design accordingly.
- Finally, you get to see your design and approve of the layout before we invoice you. Our goal is to give you an album that you are going to love.
Q. My images are not digital - can I still get an album created?
A. YES! - We have a service for anybody who would like to have an album designed from photos or negatives. If you own the copyright to your images we can help. You can send us your photos or negatives via Expresspost. This process take more time that normal digital files. We must send your images to our scanning house, where your images will be scanned, color corrected and completely retouched for you. Upon your album design completion we not only give you your beautiful album, we also provide you with all the images on a CD for you to archive. Our Scanning & Retouching prices are $35 per image due to the intensive nature of this process. |
Q. What is turn around time like?
A. Average timing for first drafts usually take 5-10 business days depending on the season and Subsequent drafts usually take 2-5 business days.
Q. What is a page 'side'?
A. A page 'side' can be thought of like any book you'd read - each page in a book is numbered individually.
A 10 spread album has 20 page sides - a 15 Spread album has 30 page sides , etc.
Q. How do I get you the images?
A. You can send us your images via our easy upload FTPsite or Mail us a CD or DVD. Contact us for pass codes to get on our private FTP site or mailing address. Reveiw our order form here!
Q. I really don't have time to retouch my images? Can you help?
A. YES - We do colour corrected for album printing, but the pricing listed at this moment DOES NOT include image edited or photo retouching. If you would like to have your images retouched please see here what we can do.
Q. Do you guarantee the quality of your books?
Yes, absolutely. We wouldn’t have it any other way. In the event that any of our books have a manufacturing defect, send us a digital photograph of the defect. If after our inspection we agree there is a manufacturing defect, simply return the book at our expense and we will ship you a new book at no additional cost. If the book is damaged during shipping, we will also replace your book at no additional cost. Any manufacturing defect or shipping damage must be reported within 2 business days after receipt.
